Does anyone offer car rental insurance in the UK for car's hired in the UK?
Posted April 30th, 2010I’m renting a car from Hertz, I thought I was fully insured until I read the small print. I could be liable for the first £500-1400 of damage unless I buy their ‘Super Cover’. This costs nearly as much as the car rental.

Posted April 16th, 2010I don’t own a car (so I don’t have my own car insurance). I am going to a small town in Upstate New York for a couple of days. Do I need to buy the car rental insurance? It is obscenely expensive (usually close to the price of the car itself).
